Santa Claus ride 2025

On December 5th, 6th & 7th, 2025, you will once again have the opportunity to meet St. Nicholas together with us.
The ride starts at our Eiswoog station, after you’ve warmed up by the campfire with a mulled wine or children’s punch.
You’ll then travel through the wintry Stumpfwald forest on our train towards Bockbachtal station, where St. Nicholas will be waiting for you.
After a story, a poem, or a few songs, there will be a small gift-giving for both young and old passengers.

Afterwards, the train takes you back to Eiswoog. From December 5th to 7th, Metzgerei Speeter will take care of your culinary needs at the station.

In the evening hours, our station will be illuminated in color.

Our trains are operated exclusively by diesel locomotives and only run on a portion of our track.

Advance booking is mandatory. No tickets will be sold on-site!

Important booking information:

After entering and submitting your data, you will receive a confirmation email.
If you do not receive this email within a few minutes, please contact us immediately at: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

If you see the message during booking: "Not enough seats available"
Here’s the relevant excerpt from our FAQs:

My train shows "1 adult" and "1 child" still available. Why can't I book 2 tickets?
In that case, there is only one seat left in total. If you can have your child sit on your lap, please go ahead and book this (last) ticket and note the child in the comments section.

If you’d still like to join the ride, check back on the booking portal regularly – sometimes seats become available again for various reasons.
